New Beginnings of Tampa awarded 2018 Gold Level Seal of Transparency Tampa, Florida – April 17, 2018 – New Beginnings of Tampa, Inc. has earned the prestigious 2018 Gold Level Seal of Transparency from Guidestar. This places New Beginnings in the top 0.5% of all reporting charities nationwide and allows people to make more informed decisions about donations.

New Beginnings has been helping Veterans in need for twenty years through the provision of transitional housing, life skills training, counseling, recovery, employment assistance and permanent housing services.

“Our programs address critical needs and develop self-sufficiency. We believe in a hand-up, not a hand-out,” says Dr. Atchison, the Founder & President of New Beginnings. “The Gold Level Seal of Transparency demonstrates that New Beginnings continues to make more information easily available which is necessary to maintain our donors’ trust,” says Dr. Atchison.  “We owe a duty of disclosure to our donors as we all seek to help & honor those men & women who bravely served our Country.” New Beginnings has consistently achieved a superior success rate with minimal administrative expenses, and their programs have been lauded by the Veterans Administration and Fl Dept of Children & Families.

Dr. Atchison has also been honored with the Lightning Community Hero award for his work at New Beginnings.
