Our Mission
New Beginnings of Tampa, an outreach of New Life Church Tampa, operates a large Transitional Housing Program that provides unaccompanied men and women over the age of 18 with a safe place to live. We want to serve as a safety net and help our residents complete their education and enhance employment and independent living skills.
This support comes in individualized programs based on the residents needs. Our benefit advocacy approach is multifaceted. We begin by determining the residents needs - such as educational opportunities; GED preparation/ vocational education, job training or as basic as applying for valid i.d., SNAP benefits and healthcare programs.
Our goal is to provide people with a place to live while moving toward a more permanent housing situation.
